Many plans have been ruined by the pandemic and our Center isn't an exception. But we managed to start our new program without delays, although just online for now. The Pre-University courses which are the first Russian-taught preparatory courses in NSU prepare foreign students to apply for Russian Bachelor programs for Economics, Medicine and Natural Science.
The First Semester starts in November and includes just a very intensive course of Russian language. It's crucial to learn Russian fast, because the exams are in Russian and on the same level as for Russians. In the Second Semester students start preparing for exams in their major subjects and continue studying Russian.
It seems it will be possible to start the Second Semester in NSU. We are still waiting for some borders to be opened in order to be able to invite students from Iran, China, Saudi Arabia and Marocco.
